The Programm

A multidisciplinary approach to human behaviour in the digital world

Cyberspace, Behaviour and E-therapy – CYBER- is a two-year Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s programme that brings together behavioural sciences, technology and digital innovation to explore how digital processes, products and systems can be used to understand and intervene in human behaviour.

The programme brings together students from two complementary academic backgrounds: Human Behaviour Background (HBB) and Engineering and Exact Sciences Background (EEB). Rather than studying these perspectives separately, CYBER integrates them throughout the programme, fostering interdisciplinary learning and the collaborative development of innovative solutions.

Delivered by Universidade Lusófona in Lisbon, Universitat de Barcelona and Université Paris Cité, CYBER offers an international and highly collaborative learning experience across three European academic environments. The programme is reviewed every year by an External Quality Board composed of independent experts from a range of scientific fields.

From the first semester, students are organised in teams – CYBER-T- pairing HBB and EEB students. These teams work together throughout the programme, applying their complementary knowledge to assignments, projects, internships and the final dissertation or project.

The programme combines academic training with practical experience, research and international mobility. Through this combination, students are better equipped to contribute effectively to the design, implementation and evaluation of digital approaches to understanding and influencing human behaviour.

Two backgrounds. Three universities. One collaborative journey.
