This course will accept candidates from areas related mental health and human health behaviour and IT, including Psychology, Medicine and Health, Computer Science, and Engineering and Technology. This joint master has two tracks: Cyberspace, more directed towards EEB students, and Behaviour and e-Therapy, aimed at HBB students. The access to the professional associations is dependent on the undergrad degree.
A common formation is offered in the first semester at UL. In this semester, a team of two students (one form each scientific area: HBB and EEB) will be put together. The CYBER Teams (CYBER-T) will travel through the 2 years working together towards the goal of developing and submitting a dissertation (HBB) or project (EBB), under the supervision of tutors specialized in the area of the student’s background. In the second year, all students will take internships in CYBER’s associated institutions (hospitals, research labs, companies, etc.), and classes that will support the dissertation/project’s development. Dissertation/projects will fall within the scope of the student’s background.

CYBER educational model aims at:

- Consolidate strategic partnerships in support of research;
- Work in tutorial system with supervised work with professionals or researchers;
- Implement internships mobility: short-intensive (Prep school) and long comprehensive internships (globalization).
The CYBER educational model was established to allow CYBER students to develop the following competences:

supported by specific strategies, namely:
- Observation, research, analysis, communication strategies;
- Research strategies and contextual analysis and possible involvement in projects;
- Research and collaborative strategies with and for the community, with strategic consolidation of partnerships;
- Strategies for implementing global research work, with a collaborative supervision tutorial system encompassing professionals and researchers;
- Europe-wide dissemination and communication strategies, through different types of mobility, short and long term.

AWARDED DEGREES
They will also be awarded a joint diploma supplement. Due to national legislation in the participating countries, a multiple diploma can also be awarded.
DISSERTATION/PROJECT DEVELOPMENT
CYBER EMJM will deliver transdisciplinary outcomes in the form of dissertations and digital applications (project) that will uncover the future of eHealth interventions.
The dissertation/project, will take place in the 4 th semester, in the form of internships in CYBER’s associated institutions (hospitals, research labs, companies, etc.), while having classes that will support the dissertation/project’s development.
The Master Dissertation/Project must be submitted in English.
