Internships

From learning to practice

The CYBER internship provides students with an opportunity to apply their knowledge in a real professional, clinical, research or technological environment.

The internship takes place in two stages: a two-month internship at the end of Semester 2, and a four-month internship in Semester 4.

Working with the same CYBER-Team throughout both stages creates continuity and allows students to develop their experience progressively, while connecting practical work with their final dissertation or project.

Each CYBER-T is guided by a tutor from the CYBER teaching team and a supervisor from the host organisation.

Internship locations may include organisations working in digital health, psychology, behavioural science, technology, research and digital innovation.

In the first edition, internships took place in the USA, the UK, Canada, Italy, Germany, Ireland, Belgium and China, as well as in Portugal, Spain and France.
