CYBER also welcomes eligible students who intend to finance their studies independently.
Self-funded students follow the same academic programme, mobility structure and learning experience as scholarship holders.
What does self-funded mean?
As a self-funded student, you are responsible for covering the applicable tuition fee and your personal study and living expenses throughout the programme.
Your budget checklist
This includes planning for:
Tuition fees
Accommodation
Food and everyday expenses
Travel between study locations
Visa and residence-related costs, where applicable

Because CYBER takes you across Lisbon, Barcelona and Paris, your budget should take into account the cost of living and travel associated with each stage of the programme.

We recommend planning your finances for the full two years before accepting your place.
Additional support
Depending on the intake and available funding, additional mobility or financial support may be available to self-funded students.
Any such support is subject to availability, eligibility and a separate application or selection process and cannot be guaranteed.
Details of available support will be published with the relevant intake.
